Located on a greenfield site adjacent to a future secondary school, the Armstrong Creek School is an integrated education precinct featuring a Primary School, Special School, and Community Hub.
The design is focused on providing an equitable and accessible learning environment for all students. Learning communities are designed to accommodate children of all needs and abilities, with little delineation between the mainstream and special learning zones. Early primary students are located at the front of the site with their own designated play areas adjacent to their learning communities, while senior years students are based in the learning communities furthest from the entry and closest to the playing field to support their growing independence. Secure sensory gardens have been integrated into the design to provide safe zones for students who require enclosure and structure.
