CHC Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)

What is Reconciliation?

Reconciliation means finding ways within our sphere of influence to strengthen relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and non-Indigenous peoples for the benefit of all Australians.

What is a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)?

Reconciliation Australia’s RAP Framework gives organisations a structured way to support the national reconciliation movement. A RAP is a strategic document that supports an organisation’s business plan and includes practical actions that drive the organisation’s contribution to reconciliation, both internally and in the communities in which it operates. There are four types of RAP – Reflect, Innovate, Stretch, Elevate – to suit organisations at different stages of their journey.
