CHC Fundraising kicks off for Run From Poverty 2016

February, 2016

Following the inaugural One Heart ‘Run from Poverty’ event held in Kenya last year, ClarkeHopkinsClarke continues our support for the upcoming 2016 event. The aim of this event is to help raise funds and awareness which will aid in changing the future of orphaned and abandoned children living in poverty. Founded by ClarkeHopkinsClarke Partner, Dean Landy, One Heart has achieved some amazing things, including having direct life changing effects on the lives of 75 children and their local community in Kenya.

Two of our passionate staff members, Ian Knight and Courtney Smith, will be entering the One Heart 2016 ‘Run from Poverty’, and have already started training and fundraising. Their first fundraising event, a Friday Night Ping Pongathon at ClarkeHopkinsClarke, kicked off after office hours on Friday 26th February and earned fabulous support from the team, raising over $350.

As part of Team CHC, Ian and Courtney would really appreciate your support. Check out the Run From Poverty facebook page for updates on their upcoming fundraising events, training progress and their progress over the next 5 months – https://www.facebook.com/runfrompoverty
