Tatu City: World Architecture Festival 2026 Finalist
Tatu City Announced As WAF 2026 Finalist
We are thrilled to announce our masterplanning and place strategy work at Tatu City is a finalist in the World Architecture Festival 2026!
Dean Landy, our Cities + Precincts Partner and Tatu City Project Leader, says the WAF shortlisting recognises the project’s real-world response to rapid urbanisation.
“This is not a utopian idea that will attract attention and then quietly disappear," he says. "Tatu City will take decades to complete, but it is already developing into one of Africa’s most liveable, walkable and sustainable new cities.”
A flagship project by ClarkeHopkinsClarke Architects and Rendeavour 20km from Nairobi, Tatu City delivers on Kenya’s vision for city development, that enables both people and nature to thrive.
