This project saw the development of the College’s new Minimbah Campus which includes a Multi-Purpose Hall and three level Administration and Visual/Performing Arts building. Developed as a stand-alone facility in close vicinity to The King David School’s Senior and Middle School Campuses in Armadale, the new Rebecca Magid Centre has provided a refreshed and enlivened identity for Sports and Performing Arts for the College Community.
Bringing together sports and performing arts, the multipurpose hall was designed for diverse user groups incorporating retractable seating to allow enhanced flexibility for use by the College Community. An existing brick building on the site was redeveloped and transformed to create the adjoining Administration Centre and Visual and Performing Arts facility. This three level facility includes music studios and practice rooms, media studies studio, computer lab, 2D art studio, visual communications studio, and gallery space, as well as the new College Administration offices.
