FEATURED

“I get great satisfaction out of understanding the client and end-user and ensuring they receive an outstanding building they’ll enjoy using for many years to come.”

Craig is the technical problem solver that makes complex health projects tick. Practical, approachable and a great listener, he stewards projects through every phase from initial brief to completion. Clients and project teams know they’re in good hands with Craig. His outstanding knowledge of construction and institutional projects was developed on a wide range of government, health, science and education projects over more than two decades.

He began his career in WA working on residential project and segued into historical buildings and healthcare while living and working in London and Ireland. On his return to Australia he worked on the Sunshine Hospital redevelopment and Teacher Training Research Centre, Royal Adelaide Public Private Partnership, Maroondah Hospital ICU and ATC Wards and Epworth Geelong Teaching Hospital.

He joined ClarkeHopkinsClarke’s health team just as our Education team was appointed lead design consultant for 15 new government schools in some of Victoria’s fastest-growing communities. Given his PPP experience he was involved in five of our PPP projects. He also worked on Saint Ignatius College in Geelong and Loyola College in Watsonia, and led Our Lady of Mercy College in Heidelberg. Since returning to healthcare he has led our redevelopment of the much loved Lort Smith Animal Hospital in North Melbourne - a fascinating project full of technical challenges and diverse end-users of the two-legged and four-legged variety.
