Firdaus Kartika

Senior Architect, RAIA

BArch (RMIT), M Multimedia (Monash)

"Most satisfying for me is providing the best service to client. I think Einstein was right when he said, ‘Only a life lived in the service to others is worth living.’”

Contributing to community and creating long lasting impact are important values and motivations for Firdaus.  As a Senior Architect in our education team he brings broad experience from roles at Gray Puksand and Hayball amongst others, where he designed for education, health and wellbeing and places of worship.

Considered and empathetic, Firdaus heads projects and teams in a spirit of service, building trust and guiding everyone towards a successful outcome by keeping the end goal firmly in sight. He believes great teams collaborate closely and openly share knowledge, challenges and lessons learned.

Thoughtful, organised and committed, Firdaus maintains focus on the big picture while planning meticulously to ensure its smooth delivery. He approaches every task wholeheartedly and inspires others to do likewise. As an architect he’s always looking for ways to improve user experience, spark curiosity and promote technical innovation, and for projects that aid people’s learning, worship or healing.
