Jarrod Manevski
Associate, RAIA
BSc(Arch), B(Arch)
“Every decision we make, from materials to forms, must prioritise meaningful human connection: to one another, to place, and most importantly to Country.”
Jarrod brings to his role as Associate in our Cities + Precincts team more than 15 years’ experience across retail, commercial, mixed use and residential projects, including high-end homes and masterplanned communities. His focus is the front end of projects, establishing feasible site strategies and development opportunities around urban design, city shaping, project visioning and concept design.
At CHC he applies his expertise to design, masterplanning and preliminary development opportunities at varied scales: from small urban villages to large-scale city planning. Dynamic, empathetic and a creative problem-solver, his specialty is swiftly conceptualising a project’s plans and 3D visions. He understands the economic and spatial metrics driving projects of various scales. He’s able to weave a compelling project narrative that communicates the broader vision to a wide range of stakeholders.
Passionate and collaborative, Jarrod is motivated by connection and belonging. “At the heart of urban design and architecture lies the human experience, which is deeply connected to Country,” he says. “Our work should honour the cultural, spiritual and environmental relationships that define our landscapes, and foster respect for the land on which we build.”
Jarrod is a member of the Urban Design Forum and was part of the design team for the Melbourne Convention Centre.
