Karin Matthews is a highly experienced draftsperson in our Education sector with a strong focus on accessible design. She has a Certificate IV in Access Consulting and helps our team ensure everybody using our spaces feels safe, comfortable and supported.

Karin is hardworking, detail oriented and meticulous, with a focus on interior elements. She uses her procedural expertise to deliver projects on time, on budget and using best practice. She thrives on the challenge of designing for diverse abilities from early learning to Year 12, and creating well designed, highly accessible spaces that enhance the educational experience. Discerning and diplomatic, she collaborates closely with all team members.

Over more than 25 years Karin has worked with visionary architects including our co-founder Les Clarke, whose ground-breaking projects like Eltham College helped drive the development in Australia of schools conceived as community hubs. She is motivated to design 21st century learning environments that give young people the best possible start in life.
