Olivia is a highly motivated Architectural Graduate in our Community + Culture team. She is passionate about community engagement and the architecture and urban design informed by it. Olivia’s project experience in Australia and internationally includes community arts and cultural precincts, childcare, local and neighbourhood activity centres, libraries, intergenerational clubhouses, placemaking strategies and masterplanning villages.

Her skills include community engagement, placemaking, concept design and storytelling, and designing at a range of scales. Expertise in urban design gives her a holistic and well considered approach at a community scale, thinking about designing for people. On projects her collaboration and communication with clients and consultants contribute to achieving the best possible outcomes.

First Nations culture and creating opportunities for impact through co-design is a key driver for Olivia. She’s a non-Indigenous First Nations Design Lead at CHC, helping our teams maximise opportunities to design with Country on our projects. Since uni days she’s been working Traditional Owners in Ceduna to bring to life an arts, cultural and tourism facility with transformative potential for the community. Internationally, Olivia has collaborated with Architects Without Frontiers and One Heart Foundation to masterplan and design houses, schools and community buildings, including Maasai Girls Rescue Centre Tanzania and One Heart villages in Tanzania, Uganda and Kenya.
