“Spatial experience has the power to positively influence our emotions, perception, behaviour and life. That is how successful interior design synthesises functionality and diverse social and psychological needs with considered composition and materiality.”
Stephanie Clarke is a Senior Interior Designer in ClarkeHopkinsClarke Architects’ Health team. From New York to Melbourne she has worked on diverse health, workplace, commercial and seniors living & care projects. Mental health co-design with clinicians and people with lived experience is a speciality.
Steph is empathetic, considered, detail oriented and a stellar communicator. On our Health and Seniors Living & Care projects she contributes design, concept, documentation and visualisation expertise. Her focus is design fit for purpose that supports communities and individuals to thrive. Her research interests include Biophilic Design, neurodiverse sympathetic interiors and intersectional sustainability.
Curious, open and attuned to the psychology and sociology of space, Steph was drawn to ClarkeHopkinsClarke by the chance to work collaboratively on interdisciplinary teams in a practice with the systems, certifications and culture to deliver on its mission to positively impact tomorrow. “That’s the benefit of being around a diverse group of people with the same aspirations,” she says. “You keep each other inspired and accountable.”
