In mid-2017 ClarkeHopkinsClarke was awarded the Architectural contract for the redevelopment of ANGAU Memorial General Hospital in Lae, Papua New Guinea.

Delivered under the Papua New Guinea – Australia Partnership, the ANGAU redevelopment will provide a world-class hospital for the local region. It will deliver acute and non-acute services including a new Emergency Department, Imaging, Operating Theatre and Intensive Care Unit, a Birthing Unit, Pathology, various wards (Special Care Nursery, Paediatrics, Medical/Surgical, Tuberculosis) and various outpatient clinics.

ANGAU is creating the benchmark for large-scale, joint health infrastructure projects in Papua New Guinea. A healthy population is a productive population, and this will drive economic development and help build this great nation.
