Curlew Apartments

Modern minimalism set the scene for luxury living

Located in a cul de sac close to Doncaster Hill, the tiered form of Curlew Court Apartments responds to the steeply sloping site, affording sweeping views to the Dandenongs.

The light and spacious interiors are complemented by generous terrace spaces. The contemporary tones of the interior scheme with its open plan layout centres on the kitchen as the hub of activity within the home, allowing engagement between living spaces and opportunities to take in surrounding views.

The interior design features a pared-back, minimal palette of prefinished materials, with key materials such as natural stone benchtops, engineered flooring and plush carpet, creating a luxurious aesthetic.

A refined palette of materials with contrasting accents characterise the apartments, articulated via two interior schemes whereby the lighter palette is accented with black fixtures and the darker scheme accented by satin chrome fixtures. The needs of the downsizer market were captured in the integration of joinery and abundant storage throughout, articulated via a minimalist aesthetic that reflects the shift to a more streamlined living environment.
