Eastern Health Ringwood transforms mental health care through a holistic, co-designed environment that brings multiple services together under one roof. Guided by the ERA Co Strategic Brief and informed by consumers, carers and clinical teams, the project creates a safe, modern and welcoming setting that supports recovery, enhances staff wellbeing, and responds to the evolving Models of Care.

The interior fit-out embodies the ‘Wrapped’ model: surrounding individuals with integrated, person-centred support through warm, nature-inspired materials, softened forms, and layered sensory comfort. Purpose-designed spaces for Infant, Child & Youth Mental Health Services offer choice, calm and age-appropriate engagement, ensuring every young person and family feels supported from arrival to the point of care.

By uniting thoughtful design, evidence-based principles and a focus on how spaces feel, Ringwood delivers a contemporary mental health environment that improves user experience, strengthens clinical capability, and fosters better outcomes for the entire community.
