Mambourin Marketplace is the newly opened retail and social hub of the masterplanned community in Melbourne’s west. The 7,500 sqm neighbourhood centre brings together everyday essentials, services and social spaces in one convenient destination.
Anchored by a full-line Coles supermarket, the centre includes 25+ specialty stores offering fresh food, dining, health, fitness, beauty and everyday services. A landscaped urban plaza with a children’s play space and integrated community artwork provides a focal point for gathering and events, reinforcing the Marketplace’s role as a place for connection as well as convenience. End-of-trip cycling facilities support active and sustainable transport.
Mambourin Marketplace represents the first stage of a future Town Centre precinct planned to ultimately deliver around 25,000 sqm of retail, integrated with a proposed train station, business district, community facilities and a new school. ClarkeHopkinsClarke developed the masterplan for the broader town centre, designed to support long-term growth while delivering a vibrant, accessible and connected community heart.
A key feature of the centre is Woven Through Country, a large-scale artwork by Wadawurrung artist Chloe Chatterton. The artwork reflects deep connections to Country, culture and community, with flowing forms and meeting symbols celebrating shared stories, connection and care for place.
