Location: Accra, Gahna
Status: Concept Masterplan

Omanye Village is designed as a vibrant, sustainable urban space that seamlessly blends contemporary design with the rich cultural heritage of Ghana. Prioritising walkability and sustainable materials, the center will incorporate permeable paving and compact land parcels to create a dense, yet accessible community environment. The urban design will feature a clear, legible layout, anchored by iconic landmarks and interconnected open spaces that serve as both lively gathering places and peaceful retreats.

Drawing inspiration from Ghana’s traditional marketplaces, the center will include dynamic market spaces that foster local commerce and community interaction. The urban fabric will reflect the region’s cultural rhythms and aesthetics, while also ensuring adaptability to the local climate. Sustainable design elements such as natural ventilation, shaded walkways, and green infrastructure will be central to the project, enhancing both functionality and comfort. The Appolonia Activity Center will stand as a celebration of Ghana’s heritage, creating a forward-thinking space that nurtures both community and commerce.
