The Rosanna Library redevelopment transformed a much-loved but outdated 1970s facility into a vibrant, 1,600sqm, three-level community hub. Co-located with a new Woolworths supermarket, the new library incorporates co-working and study spaces, community meeting rooms, expanded children’s areas, outdoor spaces, quiet study zones, maternal and child health services, and a dedicated parent and breastfeeding room. The library was delivered in collaboration with K2LD Architects, who led the interior design, the project presents a cohesive architectural and interior vision. Located in the heart of Rosanna, the library strengthens its civic presence through an activated ground plane and engaging street frontage, while new pedestrian links connect the site to surrounding parklands, public transport and the high street.
Designed as a flexible and inclusive meeting place, the library supports learning, creativity and connection for the whole community.
