Tribeca Village
A village heart for the Saltwater Coast
THE IDEA
Tribeca Village was created with a bold vision: to provide a delicate balance of urban, natural coastal and rural residential within a living environment. The design needs to be responsive to the characteristic, aspiration and cultural identity of the community.
THE SOLUTION
The project features a unique mixture of medium-density residential, lush and spacious wetlands and parks, and an abundance of community facilities such as a swim school, medical centre and childcare centre. The retail component will feature a convenience supermarket and specialist retail tenancies, and a town square with a food and drink focus creating a village heart for the Saltwater Coast community.
THE IMPACT
Tribecca Village has been designed to create a connected, walkable mixed-use local neighbourhood activity centre. It will cater for the diverse needs of the community, maximising linkages with existing community facilities, increasing density around the activity centre, and creating a well-designed public realm, the project strives to create an integrated, activated, safe and vibrant village environment.
