This new four level building is sited on a steep embankment, making the most of land that was previously inaccessible and allowing outdoor spaces to be utilised for recreation. The contemporary sculptural lines of the façade create an iconic facility that supports and encourages the individual students’ educational journeys.
The facility is designed to embrace the steep site, presenting a welcoming two level façade when viewed from the centre of the campus, and a dramatic four story façade when approached from the south. External access to all levels allows for flexibility during school time and after hours and minimises congestion.
There are 16 learning spaces over the four levels. Each of the five main learning spaces on levels 3 and 4 are connected by operable walls and have direct access to a central activity space.
