Brendan Pearce

Architect, RAIA

B.Envs (Arch), M.Arch (University of Melbourne)

“I am motivated by opportunities to push boundaries and maximise potential.”

Originally joining CHC as a student, Brendan now brings to his role as project architect in the Retail & Mixed-Use team, experience and skills developed on a broad range of retail projects, town centres and neighbourhood activity centres. He regularly stewards projects through all stages, from design to delivery.

Holistic in his approach, Brendan enjoys the challenge of managing a project’s many moving pieces, from the urban design scale right down to the fine-grain building details. He’s focused on achieving outstanding outcomes for clients, sites and communities, always thinking a few steps ahead to ensure projects run smoothly.

Translating design intent into successful built outcomes is a specialty. He thrives on details, brings considerable construction knowledge to the documentation process, and establishes strong relationships with clients, builders and project teams. This helps him bring all the disparate elements of a project together into a considered whole.

Brendan is disciplined in his approach to work and to life. A strong conceptual thinker adept at the practical delivery of projects, he’s also a team player who gains satisfaction from collaborating with others to achieve great results. “I enjoy testing a project’s limitations and making sure there’s no potential left on the table,” he says. “At CHC we aim to create places that tell stories about their site, while enhancing the lives of all those who use and inhabit them.”
