Lauren Lee

Interior Designer

BA (Interior Design) Ryerson University, Toronto

“Conceiving a design is very different to achieving it. To realise your design you need to roll with the punches and find solutions to the challenges that inevitably arise in the real built environment.”

Lauren is an accomplished Interior Designer in our Seniors Living & Care team, who has lent her expertise to a variety of health and aged care projects over the last 10 years. Her design sensibilities are second to none, and her ability to keep projects on track, communicating with all stakeholders to deliver on the brief, makes her an asset across complex commercial projects.

Lauren’s good head for constructability comes from her long history of drawing and detailing designs – for herself and others. This has given her great problem solving skills and helps her realise design intent when her ideas transition off paper and into the real world. She is passionate about craftsmanship, quality and the handmade. She has a fine eye for detailing, from metal forging to sculpture or joinery, and the difference it brings to a space.

She has worked on some extraordinary projects in Australia and overseas, including the $20 million revitalisation of five Ludwig Mies Van Der Rohe office towers in Toronto Ontario, upgrading interiors to their former glory and redesign parts of the lobby to suit new technology.
