Shavendra is a talented Architect in our Health team and an award-winning furniture designer with a string of national and international prizes to his credit. He has worked as an environmental designer and an Architect on numerous private refurbishments, extensions and new builds in Health and Education.

At CHC he helps develop architectural solutions on healthcare developments via research, design, specifications, drawings, and project outlines. He is also a Project Lead working alongside our Health team Partners on numerous projects. Shavendra brings highly regarded technical and architectural visualisation skills into our team. A visual thinker through and through, he has extraordinary visual capacity and recall. He delivers high-quality results under deadline pressure thanks to a relaxed demeanour and amazing eye for detail.

Curiosity and innovation are key drivers for Shavendra. He’s motivated to develop new skills, adapt to the latest technological systems, and explore innovations that have the capacity to create efficiencies and benefits to the environment. Among his long list of design awards and achievements are: 2018 joint winner of the Houzz x VIVID Design People’s Choice Award for Decor + Design; 2018 Commendation in the AIA’s Victorian Graduate Prize in Architecture; 2016 Architect Michael Kaufman Scholarship at University of Melbourne for high achieving students entering the master’s program, and the 2012 and 2014 AkzoNobel Awards at the City School of Architecture in Colombo, Sri Lanka, awarded for the best performance in design.
