The refurbishment of Benetas St George’s EW Tipping Wing focused on bringing a true sense of home and comfort to an existing residential aged care building. The wing comprises two apartments of 15 rooms set around centralised living, dining and kitchen facilities.

To enhance the residential feel, a light, neutral material palette was selected consisting of timber and stone look textures. Picking up on the project’s proximity to both Port Philip Bay and the Cheetham Wetlands, the colour scheme references a coastal context and is further enhanced through hanging garden pendant lighting and modern furnishings in soft complimentary tones.
